Scope & framing

This site prioritizes primary documents (resolutions, official resource pages, handbooks) and reputable secondary reporting that quotes them. Organizations typically frame these positions as equity, inclusion, student safety, and defense of public education—not as “anti-family,” “anti-Christian,” or “anti-capitalist.” Interpretive labels should be treated as analysis of implications, not as direct quotes unless the source uses them.

Direct national resolutions explicitly endorsing democratic socialism or blanket anti-capitalism are limited; the clearest anti-market-in-education language and the Colorado Education Association (NEA affiliate) capitalism resolution are included under Economics. AEA material is thinner on original national-style resolutions but is tightly linked to NEA via affiliation and funding.
